Paid Canvasser

The Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance is hiring Paid Canvassers.  API PA will soon launch a research and listening door to door canvass program in the Greater Philadelphia area, to learn more of voters’ perceptions of politics and elections in advance of the 2022 election cycle. We are seeking passionate, engaged individuals with good listening and communication skills to speak to voters at the door in South Philadelphia and/or Upper Darby, with an emphasis on Asian Pacific Islander voters. 

Asian American field organizer

The Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance is hiring an Asian American Field Organizer.  The Asian American Field Organizer will implement API PA’s long-term basebuilding and electoral strategies to build power in and for Asian communities in Southeast PA, with an emphasis on the Philadelphia suburbs. The person in this role is responsible for building relationships with Asian community leaders, recruiting and managing volunteers, managing direct voter contact activities, and coordinating issue organizing around community priorities.

Field Director

The Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance is hiring a Field Director. The Field Director will oversee the entirety of API PA’s 2022 Paid Field program, with multiple staff under them who will manage the day-to-day of API PA’s paid canvass and/or phone program. This program will launch in early 2022 and run for the entire year throughout Southeast (and possibly Central) Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on outreach to Asian Pacific Islander voters.  

Field Manager

The Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance is hiring Field Managers. Field Managerswill oversee the day-to-day of API PA’s paid canvass (doorknocking) and/or phone (calling) program, which will launch in early 2022 and run for the entire year throughout Southeast (and possibly Central) Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on outreach to Asian Pacific Islander voters. We expect to hire multiple applicants for this position, with their individual geographic focus and body of work (canvass management or phonebank management) to be determined based on experience and skillset.
